This Charcuterie Board for Two is the perfect small charcuterie board for date nights. Luscious and romantic with the perfect balance of creamy, smoky, sweet, and salty, this charcuterie board is quick and easy to put together and elevate a night in.
1 cup(5.5 oz or 155 g)dark cherries(the ones I added were very large)
1 cup(5.5 oz or 155 g)red grapes
1/4 cup(1.5 oz or 35 g)blackberries
1 oz(30 g)dark chocolate shards(at least 60% Cocoa, I used 70% Cocoa, I don't recommend higher because it can be too overpowering)
1/4 cup(85 g)hot honey
4 oz(113 g)green olives(I used unpitted, you can also do flavored, spicy or stuffed olives)
Instructions
Place the cheese first. Start off by adding the Camembert in one spot and the cubed pepper Gouda in the opposite spot so it looks balanced. Add the spread in a ramekin of your choice since it's the bulkiest item after the cheese.
Style the cured meats. For the prosciutto, loosely twist each slice like you would a puff-pastry twist keeping the fat layer on top for visual fun and place it around the Camembert. Fold each salami slice in half then place below the pepper gouda.
Add the other ingredients placing together foods that go well together like olives + salami or Camembert + berries. Keep the cured meats visually separate so they don't blend together. Place dark chocolate shards next to mild foods like bread, cheese or the ramekin. If your charcuterie board can't fit all the crackers and bread, add more to a separate plate or board. Make sure there's no empty gaps so the board looks full. You can also decorate with herbs or flowers, if you'd like.
Notes
Keep at room temperature for 20-30 minutes before serving! This way the flavors of the cheeses and cured meats will bloom.
