This Sour Cream Dressing is perfectly creamy and tangy without being heavy. It’s ready in just 3 minutes and it’s perfect for salads, slaws, bowls and even grilled meats or fish!
3 tbsp(45 ml)lime juice(or lemon juice or vinegar)
2 tbsp(30 ml)olive oil(or any vegetable oil you like)
2 tspteaspoonyellow mustard(or Dijon)
Salt and pepper(to taste)
Water(for a pourable texture, optional)
Instructions
In a small bowl, mix the sour cream, lime juice, oil, mustard salt, and pepper. Taste and adjust seasonings. Add a splash of water for a pourable texture, if desired.
Notes
Variations: herby (add 1 tablespoon minced cilantro or parsley, dills, chives, check out our favorite Coleslaw with Sour Cream), honey mustard (add 1 or 2 teaspoon honey), spicy (add a dash of cayenne or some chili flakes), garlic (add 1-2 cloves fresh minced or grated garlic or 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder). Storing Instructions: store any leftover dressing tightly covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
