How to make Turkey Cheese Sliders

STEP ONE: Preheat the oven to 350F (180C). Grease a 9 x 13-inch (22 x 33 cm) baking dish with butter, vegetable oil, or non-stick spray.

STEP TWO: Assemble the sliders. Slice the entire package of sweet rolls in half without pulling the individual rolls apart. Place the bottom layer of the rolls in the prepared baking dish. Spread the mayo over the top of the bottom layer, then follow with half of the turkey, mozzarella, turkey, and cheddar. Top with the top layer of the rolls and press slightly.

STEP THREE: Prepare the Dijon butter. In a small bowl, add the melted butter, Dijon mustard, poppy seeds, onion powder, and salt (optional). Mix. Taste and adjust seasonings, if desired.

STEP FOUR: Bake. Brush the prepared Dijon butter onto the rolls. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese has melted fully. Serve!

Can you make sliders ahead of time?

I don’t recommend making these ahead of time as the mayonnaise may be absorbed by the the bread and affect the texture and flavor of the sliders. These take 5 minute to assemble so I feel like it’s not really needed anyways!

How long can you keep sliders?

Sliders keep for up to 2 days when stored in an air-tight container in the refrigerator. Keep in mind that the rolls may dry up overtime though, to avoid that and store them for longer than 2 days, you can freeze them.

    How do you freeze sliders?

The best way to freeze sliders is to wrap each slider in a layer of plastic wrap, then place the wrapped sliders in a ziplock bag and freeze for up to 2 months.

How do you reheat party sliders?

Brush the sliders with melted butter and reheat in the oven at 350F (180C) until hot (about 5-10 minutes), flipping them once halfway through baking, if needed.
