Greek Yogurt with Honey and Walnuts
If you’ve ever been to a Greek restaurant, you’ve noticed that this is listed as a dessert and it truly is. It’s simple yet delicious, featuring a big bowl of rich, creamy, tangy Greek yogurt, the sweetness of honey and the nuttiness of toasted walnuts.
I have inhaled my fair share of Greek Yogurt and Honey after Greek Chicken Gyros at my favorite Greek restaurant as a teenager and have started to make my own at home so I can have it every day hehe!
Ingredients
Greek yogurt. It’s essential that you use high-quality full-fat Greek yogurt for this recipe as it’s what really makes it worth it. You want all the fats and richness of Greek yogurt which is, in fact, way higher in fats, richer, and thicker than regular yogurt.
Honey. I recommend investing in a jar of high-quality organic honey as it’s one of the key ingredients. Try to stick to a more delicate honey like thyme honey as to not overpower the yogurt.
Walnuts. Make sure you’re using fresher walnuts, not the ones that have been sitting in the store for way too long as older walnuts taste bitter and would ruin your dessert! I recommend toasting the walnuts to really enhance their nutty flavor.

HAPPY COOKING!! I hope you'll love this Greek Yogurt with Honey and Walnuts Recipe as much as I do!
